Monthly Mindfulness Drop-in classes

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
Anais Nin

Due to COVID-19, classes are held on Zoom, unless otherwise noted for that month.

Join us every 3rd Saturday of the month for an opportunity to be introduced, reconnect or deepen an already existing mindfulness practice. Mindfulness is the awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, and with compassion, leading to greater well-being. No experience necessary. Pre-registration required with a $10-$20 Donation.

Informal and Interactive Practices of Mindfulness

October 17th, 1:30 - 3pm

Finding a way to integrate mindfulness into our everyday life can be a challenge. Together we will experience mindfulness practices that can be applied amongst the busynessdays- from mindful eating and walking to mindful communicating and sleeping and more. Bringing awareness and a beginner’s mind to the uncommon experiences with common events and occurrences.

Respond vs React

November 21st, 1:30 - 3pm

And when we are stressed, our emotions can get triggered and at times our reactions can be quick and unskillful – sometimes leading to regret of things we have said or done. Mindfulness provides a path toward balance, enhancing our innate ability to respond more skillfully, rather than react.
